Online Training-cum-awareness Programme on MATSYA BAIBHAV conducted for all District and State level officials of Fishery Department on 29th December, 2021.

An online training-cum-awareness Programme was conducted for all District and State level officers of Fishery Department, Govt. of Assam on NIC Assam developed mobile App “MATSYA BAIBHAV” and web portal http://fisheryassets.assam.gov.in. The main objective of the App is to geotag all assets of the Fishery Department under the scheme “GHARE GHARE PUKHURI GHARE GHARE MACH”. The training Programme was led by Smt. Hiranmayee Goswami, Sr. Technical Director, NIC Assam and Sri Manoj Das, SDFDO. A detail presentation and demonstration of the App and the portal was given in the training with active participation from the District officials. Altogether 68 officials participated in the event. The Programme has been regarded as major boosting to the participants before go live of the system. The system has been welcomed by all participating officials for digitizing the process with geotagging of the assets. Awesome response from the district officials have been obtained and it is expected to be rolled out across the state very soon.
